Meissner Shelter Traditional Waffle Feed

This is a fun family event.  Ski out to the Meissner Shelter and partake in delicious, authentic Norwegian style waffles cooked in the wood stove at the shelter.

Learn to Ski Day (first opportunity of two)

Saturday 1/14/12 from 12 pm to 2 pm

Never XC skied before but want to give it a shot? Join XC Oregon for a free introduction to the lifelong sport of cross-country skiing. If you are interested in helping out, join us for training on Thursday 1/12/12  from 11 to 12 pm at Meissner.

Who we are and what we do:

The Tumalo Langluaf ski club is now Meissner Nordic.  As a volunteer organization, funded purely through donations and memberships, we strive to:

  • provide excellent groomed ski trails (40 Km) at Meissner Sno-Park for community use,
  • facilitate access to the sport of cross-country skiing, and
  • conduct social and skiing activities for club members.

Where to find us:

Meissner Nordic Community Ski Trails are 14 miles from Bend just off the Cascades Lakes Highway on the way to Mt. Bachelor.  Meissner Nordic is a chapter of the Oregon Nordic Club and operates under an agreement with the National Forest Service.

Look inside! and become involved …. and if you like what you see become a member!
