20 Bend Residents Ready for Masters World Cup Age-group World Championship:

Mary Wellington is going to be one busy lady over the next couple of weeks, crisscrossing the U.S-Canadian border so she can cross-country ski.

Wellington, 40, who skies for the Bend-based XC Oregon team, plans to make two trips between Central Oregon and Vernon, British Columbia, during that span to compete in the Sparkling Hill Masters World Cup cross-country ski event at Sovereign Lake.
